WednesdayAmerican Colonial Period: The Freest People on Earth 1603-1789 presented by Dr. Michael Deeb
During the seventeenth century and half of the eighteenth century, colonists in the British thirteen colonies of North America developed a new culture within which they became the freest people on earth. Join Dr. Michael Deeb in a discussion of how that free culture developed, the post-1763 Treaty of Paris British attempt to limit that freedom, and colonial reaction to British control.
