Lego Olympics takes traditional and builds it up a block or two. Put your building skills to the test with this fun-filled Olympic style challenge. (For tweens and teens in grades 5-12)

Fabulous Fairy Tale Show presented by Mellypop! Puppets

Join Squint and Melly for a potpourri of fun, frolicking and fabulous fairy tales! The best part is...you get to choose your duo from the list of fairy tales: The Gingerbread Girl, Let's Wait for Zorillo, Hansel and Gretel, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, or the Three Little Pigs.

Preschool Story Hour

Children, ages 5 & under, and their caregivers are invited to join us for stories, songs, rhymes, crafts, snacks, and FUN!

LEGOS at the Library

For ages 5+. Stop in any time between 10 and 11:30 to design and build! Optional challenges will be provided to inspire your inner creator.

The Old Settlers

Join us for an informative and fascinating presentation about the Old Settlers of Mecosta, Isabella, and Montcalm Counties. The presenters will focus on four historical sites in Morton and Wheatland Townships: Wheatland Church of Christ, the Morgan West Wheatland Cemetery, School Section Lake Veterans Park, and the Little River Schoolhouse.

Light-Up Circuit Friendship Bracelets (Teen Summer Reading Program)

Join the Sloan Museum of Discovery to create your very own friendship bracelet through the use of felt, LED lights, and conductive thread. Learn about the science of circuits as you create a keepsake to gift to a friend or keep for yourself. (For Tweens and Teens in grades 5 - 12)

Oceans in Motion presented by Amazing Clark

Children and families are invited to join the Amazing Clark for an interactive comedy show filled with exciting magic tricks, comedy, and plenty of audience participation that encompasses the theme "Oceans in Motion."
