In this presentation you will learn about some plants that are best to grow in your gardens to help attract, and ultimately benefit, pollinators.  Participants will also be introduced to a wide array of bee species and pollinators, as well as their benefits and importance to not only our ecosystem, but also to our food industry.

Presenter Brian Peterson-Roest is a fifth grade teacher, adjunct professor at Oakland University and the co-founder and president of Bees in the D, a non-profit organization devoted to the education and conservation of Honey Bees and other pollinators in Detroit and Southeast Michigan.
