Life and Times of Anna Howard Shaw
As a child, in 1859, Anna Howard Shaw moved with her mother and siblings to Mecosta County. As the oldest child, Anna had to endure the struggles of a pioneer to keep her family alive even though she was only 12 years old. Her triumph over these hardships equipped her for a life where she was able to achieve a great deal in a world that was still very much controlled by men.
Join us in celebrating the life of this great woman by enjoying a performance by local actresses, in period dress, as they help us all relive her life.
