Storyteller Lois Sprengnether Keel portrays Liberetta Lerich Green who actually grew up on a Michigan Underground Railroad Station. Her parents were Michigan pioneers coming here to support the growing abolition movement in this state. Her brothers were in the Michigan "Fighting Fifth" infantry. Using music, letters, and stories, she tells of the family's work with the Underground Railroad, the war which resulted from the election of Abraham Lincoln, and its aftermath upon her family.
