The Old Settlers
Join us for an informative and fascinating presentation about the Old Settlers of Mecosta, Isabella, and Montcalm Counties. The presenters will focus on four historical sites in Morton and Wheatland Townships: Wheatland Church of Christ, the Morgan West Wheatland Cemetery, School Section Lake Veterans Park, and the Little River Schoolhouse.

GEM Theatrics presents "My Dearest Friend"
This two-character play brings history alive in a new way, documenting the true love story of the lives of John and Abigail Adams. This play touches on key points of their life together throughout the American Revolution and beyond. Discover how forward-thinking they were in matters of equality for women and the issue of slavery, all the while maintaining their love for one another.

Impressions of Russell Kirk by Family and Friends
Join Russell Kirk's daughters as they share reflections and memories of their father, "Michigan's Greatest Man of Letters." Russell resided in Mecosta and from our village wrote 32 books as well as a nationally syndicated column "To the Point." Area residents who know Russell will also share remembrances of him.
